Warmth: What a Concept

It was almost unbearably hot upstairs last night. Amazing what a difference a small amount of insulation makes. I can't wait until the weather clears up and we can finish the job.

One thing that became really clear once the first floor got warmer was that the front door leaks like crazy. Richard, the guy across the street, tells us that our window guys also make doors, so perhaps we will be having new front doors made sometime in the future. Until then, I'll just pack the cracks with weatherstripping until you can't get the doors open any more.
