Stupid Kids
Apparently a couple of kids, about 11 or 12 years old, have decided that our house is abandonned. Earlier today they went up to the front door and tried the knob, and then later in the day our neighbor caught them cutting through our back yard and over the fence. He yelled at them, but they just ran away.
(There was a pile of ladders by the fence that they climbed on to get over; they aren't superhuman or anything.)
(We moved the ladders away so they can't do it again.)
This tells me two things:
- It's time to harass Mr. Chan about replacing his fence, and pronto.
- It's also time to think about replacing the front fence with something that looks a bit more imposing and isn't clearly falling over.
Though what I'd really like to do is find the so-called parents of those kids and kick some sense into them. Sheesh.
