Rot Me! I'm a Dais!

There's nothing like a little rot to brighten your day. Oh, and having another set of stairs removed.

Our side porch always collects water during the winter. From the outside, it doesn't look too bad:

Have a look at that corner near the house, though, and it gets looking pretty grim:

Those stairs don't look very good from below, either:

We figured that we'd need to deal with some rot, so this doesn't come as a surprise. Given how much water pooled up there during the rains, I expected it to look a lot worse.
